AIX Client ?

I know this isn't really in the spirit of things, but I've got an older
AIX box (4.3) that I would really love to put the Hobbit client on.
Unfortunately it's a full production box that they don't want to put
anything like gmake or gcc on, so I can't compile the client there, and
we have no other AIX boxes running around.

Does anyone have an AIX 4.3 client they could share with me ? I'm
pretty sure I can adjust the config files as needed, just need the core
stuff.

Feel free to email me directly if you have such a thing

Thanks,

Hi Bill,
I know only one pre-built Hobbit client for AIX 5.2 (RPM). This is the one I'm using on our AIX servers.
You can find it here
 http://rpm.razorsedge.org/aix-5.2/RE/ppc/repodata/repoview/hobbit-client-4-4.2.0-6.aix5.2.re.html
I hope this can help you.
  Regards.

I'm going to compile a client tomorrow for a customer. I have a BigBrother
client running on AIX 4.3 ML11, but I want to switch to the hobbit client.

Stef,

THANK YOU! That works great, and has finally taken some of the mystery
out of the lone AIX box.

They had dug an old one out for me to try and build the client on, but
there wasn't enough disk space to get the gnu utilities I needed, this
solves that problem entirely.

Thanks again!
