I still can't get data from the linux client (running on the Hobbit
linux server). Specifically disk and CPU utilization.
The display only shows: bbd, conn, ftp, http, info, ssh, trends

bb-hosts (entry):

10.2.0.99 doylebrunson # trace bbd ssh ftp
http://DoyleBrunson.ailife.com/
apache=http://DoyleBrunson.ailife.com/server-status?auto
TRENDS:*,apache:apache|apache1|apache2|apache3
CLIENT:DoyleBrunson.ailife.com NAME:Hobbit

(This server has a DNS address entry of DoylBrunson and a CNAME of
Hobbit)

There are no entries for hobbit, alife, com.cpu or .disk in
/var/lib/hobbit/hist

What am I missing, what can I check?

TIA,

bbd usually only shows up on the hobbit server...is this doubling as the
server? If so, did you install the client as well? you may also want
to check the ghost reports page of the server if not. Not sure it will
really make a difference but you may want to use FQDN names
(doylebrunson.ailife.com instead of doylebrunson).

If you fix the bbhost file to use doylebrunson.ailife.com it should
start showing up...it may be as simple as rearranging the NAME and
CLIENT components...not sure if order matters.
