Is there anyway of adding new colours and icons in Xymon?
I would like to add a new set of icons to differentiate the statuses for
some of the defined elements.
I have been looking around instructions/forum and while is possible to
change the icon itself I haven't see anything about new implementations?

There are icon packs that are available to replace the entire icon set, so
I'd say yes, it has to be possible. The trick, based on what I did to
change the default icon set with an LED style icon set, is to name the new
icon with the same file name as the one you're replacing and simply move
it into place.
They're GIF files, and they reside in $XYMONHOME/gifs.
