Has anyone gotten the Hobbit client (or is that the Xymon client now =)
running on FreeNAS? Or even FreeBSD 6.x for that matter?

I am curious on how to go about starting this. I have minimal BSD
experience so I am hoping I can learn how package management is done and
create a package for Xymon for the easiest route.

I compiled a client on an older freebsd, so I assume freebsd 6 should be ok.
I just compiled it statically to avoid dependancies, as the target machine is a freebsd based appliance.

Can you explain what you mean by compiling it statically? How would you go
about transferring it from a FreeBSD machine to the FreeNAS box?

I have hobbit on a FreeBSD 5.x server.
Both the client and the server are in ports.

Hi there!

Has anyone gotten hobbit/xymon client to work with FreeNAS?, if so how
is it supposed to be done?, would be awesome to get the graphing easier
to look at and so on.

Thanks in advance.
