It's already frustrating trying to find work, but when the DSL drops out while filling in web-based applications, I just want to whack someone. Hopefully I can present the phone company with enough stats to get something done about it.

Just for grins I've installed FreeBSD-7.2 in VMware (in Vista :-) and then installed xymon-client and xymon-server from the ports directory. Works pretty well, reporting to the ubuntu xymon that's watching my DSL... :) Ralph Mitchell
