Configure your clients to send data to both systems. Regards, Henrik

Hi, Oh - great, so simple - just as on any over monitored server, I guess. /melgaard

Use xymon proxy on the node servers to catch all incoming data and send both locally to that server and on to the 2nd server. The proxy means there is much less data flying around than sending data directly to both though you do need the configuration in both locations. The exact details should be on the list archive from my previous mails. Regards, Craig

That gives you a single point of failure however. I prefer to have clients send to multiple places. Due to an overly complex network, I have 2 proxies, each with their own server moved to port 1985, and a single centralized main server. I'm not enthralled by the setup, but with firewalling constraints and a lot of WAN stuff, it's how I needed to build it. Paul Root - Engineer III - Qwest is now CenturyLink

This also sounds more likely to keep the servers in sync.
