Hi

I'll like to know if Xymon keep a copy of the generated alert messages on
the server and where?

Also, I'll like to know if I need to create SSH key for Xymon user on the
server and the client server.

And is there a custom script to monitor SQL databases?

Thanks,
Bakes

Not sure about stored emails/alerts. You can always use the Xymon history
for server status.

The Xymon client doesn't need an SSH trust, no.

I use a custom script for MySQL. It's decent.

On my server, notifications which are sent by email from the xymon server are logged in /var/log/xymon/notifications.log

Xymon does not normally use ssh as its communication channel. On the Xymon server, the daemon listens on TCP port 1984. Clients connect and push messages in, or pull configs out. This communication happens unencrypted.

Sorry, I can't help you with that one.
