Hello,

I am trying to get jmxstat working. I have followed the instructions at
https://wiki.xymonton.org/doku.php/monitors:jmxstat  and got to the point
where I can see a jmxstat column in the xymon report, with a yellow icon.
However clicking on that icon shows no graph.

The rrd file is created on xymon
server: /var/lib/xymon/rrd/test-app/jmxstat.rrd

and `rrdtool info /var/lib/xymon/rrd/test-app/jmxstat.rrd` shows the output
at the end.

Can someone please give me a hint how to process further?

According to the man page for XYMONSERVER.CFG, you can have xymongen add
the jmxstat graph to the jmxstat status page (and not just the trends page)
by updating TEST2RRD or GRAPHS_jmxstat.

I think the GRAPHS_columnname definition is a new feature, so it might not
be supported on older releases of Xymon.  Also, I've never used it.

just to clarify:
TEST2RRD is needed for the graph to be generated.
To have it show up on the trends-column you need to adjust GRAPHS.

Right, introduced in 4.3.20. If you want the jmx-graphs to show up on an existing column that's the way to go. Some more details here .

In general, if the rrd-name matches the colomn-/test-name the graph should show up on the test page automatically without modifying any GRAPH* variable.
