Breaking out msgs into multiple tests in Xymon 🔗 link

Is there a supported way to break out file monitoring into multiple
tests in Xymon?  We have a situation where we need to send alerts for
different logfiles to different teams from the same client.  If not, how
do other people do this?  We've used bb-msgs.pl from deadcat in the past
to accomplish this, but it was a bit buggy, so we're hoping for
something supported (and current).
