How much more do I need to customise if I added the drive letter and
what percentage of the disk has been used or alerted to ?

Try putting this in hobbit-alerts.cfg:
HOST=itlab02.metsi.com SERVICE=disk
MAIL user-7ea7ee25b28c@xymon.invalid FORMAT=SMS
If that includes more than you want, then you'll have to write a custom
alerting script to format the message.
