I mentioned it in my previous mail, but since that's mostly a bug
report and it wasn't clear from the subject, I just wanted to send a
separate mail for this:
To get alerts to my mobile phone but without having to rely on costly
and often unreliable SMS (or hidden between a lots of e-mails), I've
written a generic script to send Telegram messages from the
commandline using a Telegram Bot and a wrapper to make that script
usable from Xymon's alerts.cfg.
It's available under GPLv3 including some documentation at
https://github.com/xtaran/telegram-bot-send-to
I also had a look at https://wiki.xymonton.org/, but I'm not sure
where this would fit. It's not a monitor and doesn't seem to fit
properly to the list on https://wiki.xymonton.org/doku.php/addons
either. Suggestions?
