Hi all,
I'm resending a patch I submitted here in May 2014, since it looks like
it still didn't make it in. It's a small patch and should be easily
reviewed. No changes have been made to the patch file since it still
applies cleanly to 4.3.26.
Without this patch, summary messages do not work if an HTTPS URL is
specified. Since any competent system administrator will use HTTPS for
the monitoring web server, summary messages are not very useful right now.
Is there another method to send patches that has a higher success rate
than the mailing list?
Hi,
Sorry, it might simply have been missed back then. The main xymon mailing
list is fine, as the community here has a something of a history of
applying patches. If you've subscribed to the SourceForge development list
at https://sourceforge.net/p/xymon/mailman/xymon-developer/ (so your
messages aren't held), user-834d44be5e50@xymon.invalid is a better
spot.
In either case, if there's no response after this long, it might have been
overlooked. Feel free to send a nudge.
This one looks fine, and it should be in 4.3.27.
