The hobbit monitor system uses your routine to gathers cpu load. But it
ALWAYS showed 100% in my case: windows with 64 bits architecture running a
XP virtual machine (32bits). In this machine the code is compiled and
executed.

The solution I applied was:
Add "WIN32" to the options in de preprocessor definitions. Then, just like
magic, it worked.

That worked for me. Anyone have something to add?
