Hello all,

I have a question concerning the alert management in Hobbit. The thing
is that I do not want to manage the day-to-day needed changes on the
configuration file when I must change the recipient of alerts for
various reason (in vacation, not at the desk, ...).

Do any of you use any other system to manage the alert rules? Something
more like another program which receive Hobbit alert and then forward
then to the dedicated person?

Thank you for any help;

Etienne Marganne.

How about using a generic recipient address. That could either be a
shared mailbox, or a mailing list that people could manage themselves.

We leave that kind of thing up to the recipient. I.e. just as with all other
mailing lists, let the recipient manage the delivery on the receiving end.
