Hobbit Client for Sun OS

Is there a precompiled version of the hobbit_client_ available for SunOS
5.10.

If not, how can I build the client only and what prerequisites do I need. Can I use Sun's own C compiler/linker or do I have to install gcc and all the libraries the complete hobbit source archive needs to make server and client

Thank you for help

I can provide you with a precompiled client for Solaris 9 Sparc.
I compiled it with gcc.

i think it will run on 10 as well (as long if it is Sparc)

Yep, www.blastwave.org had all kind of precompiled packages. It supports
dependancies(!) and any package can easily be removed if you want to with
Sun's pkg-tools. All software is installed within a directory tree
/opt/csw/...

Don't be surprised when you only just install the hobbitclient-package,
because there will be other packages installed as well (in /opt/csw/...).
This is normal; see http://www.blastwave.org/howto.html.

If you have solaris 10, you should have gcc in either /usr/sfw/bin or
/opt/sfw/bin. These directories may just not be in your path.
