Hi,

I would like to know what is the best way to share a new Hobbit
extension?
It's a tiny Bash script with a README (3KB) to check some SAP remote
system. In the first place, I've put my work there : http://code.google.com/p/checkmysap/

 Thanks by advance.

We have 2 options for that...1) Provide a copy to The Shire...or 2) I can just link to this from The Shire.

Thanks Galen for the link. I was in the process to register at the The
Shire mailing list and ask to include a link on the website. Could you
please add some text around the link like "SAP / BI availability check :
checkmySAP" because the name is not very explicit.
 Best regards!

Where can one actually find your script or other extensions.

If I go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/theshire/
I can't find any scripts/extenstions available to download...

Thanks,

theshire.sf.net will redirect you to www.trantor.org/theshire. SF didn't work out as well as I had hoped.

Thanks, how does one find this link? Henrik's hobbit page still
references the sourceforge shire site. Just something to think about
for people who are new to hobbit...

Taylor has a good point. It's not obvious. I think I originally found
The Shire by following a trail of cookie crumbs in the forest.

You can actually get there from http://sourceforge.net/projects/theshire/,
though, using the Project-->Web Site pulldown selection. I put some posts
about the location in the SF forums for the Shire about the location
also.

Could it not be added as a menu option under the "Hobbit Project" menu
item on http://www.hswn.dk/hobbit/?

This would seem an obvious place for it?

Just a thought..
