No purple on large ext script interval
list Allan Spencer
Hi All I am wanting to run a script every 60 minutes or so perhaps longer but do not want it to turn purple in between. I THINK there was a discussion about something similar a while ago but I can't find it or didn't look hard enough. This script runs on the hobbit server itself but I can't imagine this being any different from a normal client Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Allan

There is a parameter you can use when you send your status update to the Hobbit server that tells it when to expect the next update. I think you need to look at the man page for the "BB" command, and look at an option called "lifetime." GLH
