I am running xymon 4.2.3. My graphs for the disk are showing all the
partitions in the trends but in the disk status graph does not contain
all the partitions. I have searched on the forums but have found no
fix for this behaviour. is there anything that I can do to fix this so
the Disk Status Graph looks the same as the trends graph.

Thanks

I get the following error message "hobbitping invocation failed: No such file or directory". The file is there if I run it manually it works.

Any help is apreciated.

[root at bb bin]# ../bin/bbtest-net --debug <host>
Command: bbtest-net '--debug' '<host>'
Environment BBLOCATION=''
Environment CONNTEST='TRUE'
Environment IPTEST_2_CLEAR_ON_FAILED_CONN='TRUE'

If the section in hobbitserver.cfg says this .
FPING="/usr/sbin/fping"

The "hobbitping" text is static, it should be changed in the code to
tell you what command it is trying to run. I'll fix that.

Since you have /usr/sbin/fping installed (I assume), then it might
just be that your [bbnet] task doesn't load this hobbitserver.cfg
file. Check in the hobbitlaunch.cfg - there should be an ENVFILE
setting just before the bbtest-net command, like

[bbnet]
	ENVFILE /usr/local/hobbit/etc/hobbitserver.cfg
	NEEDS hobbitd
	CMD bbtest-net --report --ping --checkresponse
	LOGFILE $BBSERVERLOGS/bb-network.log
	INTERVAL 5m

Make sure that ENVFILE actually points to the hobbitserver.cfg file
you want to use.

It points to the correct one the one thig i noticed now. when I ran
bbtest-net --ping --checkresponse --debug

it core dumps on
2009-04-24 12:39:29 Finished ARES queue after loop 24826
2009-04-24 12:39:29 Adding tcp test IP=<ip_number>, port=21, service=ftp, silent=0
Aborted (core dumped)

I think this is why it is failing

i am using 4.2.3.
