I have a lab system I am trying to test Xymon with where all of the lab
systems have the same host name that is the same as a single production
system.

For example, I have 3 lab computers... Lab1, Lab2, Lab3. They all have
a hostname of prod101 (this is necessary for other system testing)

How can I test running xymon on these lab systems when they all have the
same host name?

They need to have *some* unique identification for Xymon to be able to
tell which is which. So decide what name you'll use for each.

Then start the client with the "--hostname=MYHOSTNAME" option.
