I have a case where I have identical processes on a host that I want to check for (via hobbit-clients.cfg) and track. The process names are identical, except for the user running them. Is this possible to do? It looks like so far not, as the man page seems to indicate that hobbit only parses the command section of the ps output.

me too. I believe there's earlier thread(s) requesting it as a new feature.
Not sure whether it made to the 4.2 final version or not.
