bb-eventlog with plain text output

Can I run something like bb-eventlog to get the history of a node, but get
the output in plain text form?
I'm looking for something that is easier to include in a jira, help desk
ticket, etcetera.

Another way to say it, I'm looking for something like xymondboard but for
history, not just current status.
