Firewall and selinux have been diabled. Hobbit owns the rights of all
the files in the /home/hobbit dir

And the default path is set to /var/www/cgi-bin.

I still get the error http 404 not found..

Do you have any index.php or index.html in this directory ?

what happens if you add the index.php or index.html at the end of the url ?

http://myhobbitserver/index.php
http://myhobbitserver/index.html

what happens if you try with the hobbit directory ?

Did you include the configuration created by hobbit, mentioned at the end of
the make install?

Please note you have to use a trailing slash, /hobbit/
