ZONESTAT and MPSTAT graphs show as broken links
list John Browning
I've setup the two scripts for zonestat and mpstat from here: http://xymonton.trantor.org/doku.php/monitors:zonestat and here: http://xymonton.trantor.org/doku.php/monitors:mpstat I've followed the directions carefully and thoroughly and I get broken links for graphs in the "Trends" section of the host I have it configured on. I searched through the email threads and saw some others had this issue, but no solution seemed to be posted afterwards. Could someone reply with a solution if they know a fix? I'm a bit reserved in contacting the developer directly about this, I like to keep all xymon traffic on the list. My server is running Xymon 4.2.3, the client is currently running at 4.2.0. The script is reporting data, the RRD files have data, the graphs simply show as broken links. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kevin, Let's try and keep traffic on the list. I didn't do anything different than what the instructions said except I found this on a posting which worked for me. I'll try and help as best as I can but I'll need some more info from you. Can you give some detail on what you have? Is the tool creating the appropriate rrd files? Are you getting graph "Broken Link" images on your trends page for the host? Is your client running the zonestat.sh script properly? Check the tmp folder in the clienthome directory of xymon to ensure its running the script as well. Did you carefully follow the instructions on the site? I overlooked a few steps the first run through myself. Another thing I did have to do, was change the perl path in the rrd_data.pl script.

Ok, I did miss the path in the rrd_data.pl script. Now I get a box on the bottom of the trends page that says "hobbit graph zonestat" but no data. The client is running correctly. There now appears to rrd files on the xymon server which weren't there before.

This would be the point where I was, when I added that string to my bb-hosts. That corrected the broken links for me.

Ok, it appeared that I a ":" instead of a ",". I am now getting graphs. Thanks for helping! Couple of other questions: 1. Is there a way that I can get the zonestats to show up in its own column on the web page? 2. Is there a way to alarms on any of the zonestats?
