CSS within xymon

Hello all, The below message was pulled from the xymon mailing list. Does anyone know if the code changes mentioned below were ever made available anywhere? Cheers Phil ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Taylor, Robert <user-3e97fc7d80fd@xymon.invalid> Date: 5 July 2010 21:32 Subject: [hobbit] RE: Input needed from all of you. To: "user-ae9b8668bcde@xymon.invalid" <user-ae9b8668bcde@xymon.invalid> Here is a screenshot of mine. I've re-written nearly all of the code to base everything on CSS, created new images and replaced the menu. I was next going to undertake replacing the tables with DIVs, but that was a little more daunting especially since I know nothing about C. As it is, it took me a TON of trial and error, but I'm reasonably happy with the output. I did this last summer. Hi All As we are in a planning stage I need YOUR help. One of the things we have on our hit list is the web interface(might be for a later release). Here is how you can help. Send me the resolutions of the screen you most commonly use to view your Xymon pages. This information will help greatly with the development going further.

Hi all, We (actually a colleague) is going to convert all the embedded html markup within the xymon source to css to allow xymon to be skinned much more easily. I would just like to check with the list if there is anything special we should consider. Once complete, we will supply a patch back to the project. Is this the best approach for contributing? The patch will be against the current beta release. Cheers Phil

Write to user-834d44be5e50@xymon.invalid - this is a mailing list
for Xymon development, and the topic of skinning / CSS'ing the Xymon
webpages has been touched upon several times. I know there are some
people who have thought about this, and it is one of the topics that I
think should be dealt with in the release following 4.3.0.
Regards,
Henrik
