Hi,

in a few moments (or later today) you will all receive an invitation to join the Xymon mailing list. You must confirm this in order to keep receiving mails about Xymon.

This happens because I have setup a new server to handle the Xymon mailing list, and instead of trying to migrate the current setup from Mailman2 to Mailman3, I simply started from scratch. That also means the mailing list archive is not yet in place - bear with me, I hope to get that fixed over the weekend.

For those of you with extreme anti-spam measures in place: The new IP's of the mailing list server "mx.xymon.com" are 116.203.250.29 (IPv4) and 2a01:4f8:c012:5d2b::1 (IPv6). SPF, DKIM and DMARC is in place, but the server does not yet have an SSL certificate - so mail is received/sent unencrypted.

Regards,

Henrik

I get that the archive hasn't been brought over from the old server.

But did you also mean that the archiving / web access thereto isn't functional for new messages posted to the mailing list?

I was going to share a link to my delayyellow / delayred post with a colleague, but I can't find it, or anything, in the archive on the new server.

N.B. I'm not complaining, just looking to better understand.

Thank you for all that you do. :-)

Hi Grant,

the archiving does appear to be broken at the moment. It requires some digging into the "Hyperkitty" system used by Mailman3 - from what I see in the management interface everything should be A-OK, but as you found out there are no mails in the archive.

Once I get that running, my plan was to import the old archive into Hyperkitty so everything would be in one place.

Regards,

Henrik

ACK

Cool if that's the current state. I was just looking for confirmation
or redirection if I was looking in the wrong place.

Sounds like you're already working on a better future state. :-)
