Good friends, sorry I do not speak English.

Take this opportunity to check the following:

In the bb-host file put the host to be monitored as follows 10.70.202.5
server1 # conn cpu disk memory.

But seeing the page, there are more columns like bbgen, bbd, bbtest, info
and more.

The question is how I can do to observe only the columns you want to
monitor?

I used the command bbgen but changes are not permanent.

 Sincerely,

Jeison

use the group-only option in your bb-host file

http://www.xymon.com/xymon/help/manpages/man5/hosts.cfg.5.html

group-only COLUMN1|COLUMN2|COLUMN3 [group-title]
Same as the "group" and "group-compress" lines, but includes only the columns explicitly listed in the group. Any columns not listed will be ignored for these hosts.

cheers

Thanks Martin, the option that tells me is for a group of servers you want
to monitor the same columns for all, but in my case I want each server in
the same group can be seen, for example:

on server 1 conn cpu disk
on server 2 cpu disk memory http

Both servers from the same group.

Jeison,

In the bb-hosts file use the:

NOCOLUMNS:<column name>

For a given server and it will not display that column. So in your example, a bb-host entry of:

10.70.202.5 server1 # NOCOLUMNS:bbgen

will keep the bbgen column from appearing on your web pages.
