If your phone complains I'd expect you need to "allow unknown sources
android" (or post the error if otherwise)

https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome-psyapi2&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8&q=android%20allow%20unknown%20sources

Assuming it's new new and not just new to you go to settings > security >

I didn’t have download from unknown sources on, but that still isn’t it.

I see where the download link, but I only get a 404 error on the phone. Maybe it’s Chrome causing issues. I registered in github, that didn’t help.

Oh well, I’ll keep plugging.

Oh! Looks like the APK link is broken. I created an issue on the repo,
the writer may see it and fix it but worst case you'll need to compile the
app yourself with the code on GitHub.

I didn't find it. It may be wrapped up in a tarball of other things, but

So the developer, Darrik, is jumping through Google’s hoops to get xymonqv back on the playstore.

I’ve downloaded the Xymon Monitor from the play store, but I can’t get it to work. It has issues with the certificate. Which is a valid Semantec signed cert.

I’ll just wait on Darrik.

Works great. Thanks for making it. I've been using it for years.

So the developer, Darrik, is jumping through Google’s hoops to

I’ve downloaded the Xymon Monitor from the play store, but I
can’t get it to work. It has issues with the certificate. Which
is a valid Semantec signed cert.

I’ll just wait on Darrik.

Paul.

I didn't find it. It may be wrapped up in a tarball of other
things, but it's not laying around loose anywhere. I know I
installed it on at least one phone, but I'm not sure how I got it
there.

In the meantime, there's this "XyMon Monitor" in the Google Play
Store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schulzhess.xymon

I know nothing about it, except that it appears to be in active
development.

I may have a copy of the apk at home. I'll take a look this
evening.

Oh! Looks like the APK link is broken. I created an issue on
the repo, the writer may see it and fix it but worst case you'll
need to compile the app yourself with the code on GitHub.

I see where the download link, but I only get a 404 error on the
phone. Maybe it’s Chrome causing issues. I registered in github,
that didn’t help.

Oh well, I’ll keep plugging.

New cell phone - I need XymonQv

This page https://github.com/darrikmazey/XymonQV has the download
link

https://github.com/downloads/darrikmazey/XymonQV/XymonQV.apk

If your phone complains I'd expect you need to "allow unknown
sources android" (or post the error if otherwise)

https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome-psyapi2&ion=1&espv=2&ie
=UTF-8&q=android%20allow%20unknown%20sources
Assuming it's new new and not just new to you go to settings > security
enable unknown sources
