Hi list,

We are still running Xymon 4.2.3, I've been playing around with BBWin in
central mode however I can't get it to check service status, is this
something that was introduced in a later version? I have tried the
following configs in hobbit-clients.cfg to no avail :(

HOST=dc0.domain.com
    SVC        DNS Server status=started startup=automatic
    SVC        Server status=started startup=automatic
    SVC        Netlogon status=started startup=automatic

HOST=dc0.domain.com
    SVC        DNS status=started startup=automatic
    SVC        LanmanServer status=started startup=automatic
    SVC        Netlogon status=started startup=automatic

HOST=dc0.domain.com
    SVC        "DNS Server" status=started startup=automatic
    SVC        Server status=started startup=automatic
    SVC        Netlogon status=started startup=automatic

Any ideas?

Ignore that, it has suddenly sprung into life. Incase anyone is interested
the 2nd settings are the ones that work, using the service "shortname".
