Installing packaged version of xymon-client 🔗 link

I installed the Xymon server and client packages on an Ubuntu host
without problems, and they seemed to work really well.

I then went to a client machine, and installed xymon_4.3.7_i386.deb
using dpkg -i and it appears that no files were created in
/etc/init.d/ (unlike on the server).

This appears to be a known issue:

... this makes me wonder if anything else is missing?
