You need to make /usr/local/sbin/fping suid-root:

Your RRD (graph) files will not be updated. The problem is
this one:

rrd-data.log= 2008-01-11 09:58:05 Worker process died with exit code 9,
terminating
ld.so.1: hobbitd_rrd: fatal: librrd.so.2: open failed: No such file or
directory

Or even better: install sudo and allow your hobbit-user to execute fping 
via sudo without password...

Look for a file called "error_log".  It might be in /var/log/httpd.

 
I'm going to go out on a limb and say you've never done any kind of system administration before?  We'll try to help, but this is basic information...

 
find / -name 'error_log'

 
should show you exactly where it is located.
