Hi,

I tried to create an availability report for february. On the drop down menu for year I only can choose 1965-1970.
This is on HP-UX 11.11 running snapshot from yesterday afternoon.

Indeed - it does that on my system also. That why clean-up code
changes need to be tested also :-)

By the way - thanks a lot for your tireless testing of the current
snapshot. Although I often know that some things will be broken,
it is very helpful to get the reports about how the snapshots work
(or do not work) on systems besides my own.

I have problems to sleep in the mornings, so instead I try to download and
install last nights snapshot over some cups of tea.

What is the difference between the types of availability reports
(critical, non-green, all)? When I run each report, they appear to
generate the same data.

Thanks.

The difference shows up in the detailed view of the status in the
report (the "Event log" display).

"Critical" includes only red alerts.
"non-green" includes all status changes to some color other than red.
"all" includes also the status changes to green.

See e.g the difference between this "critical" report:

and this "all" report:

"Critical" includes only red alerts.
"non-green" includes all status changes to some color other than red.
I think this should read "... to some color other than green"
(instead of red)
"all" includes also the status changes to green.

Hi,

I've added new services in bb-services.

My problem is, that these services and others are not correct shown in an "availability report"!! They are always been shown as 100% ok!

When I create an "event log report" or have a look in the history of these services I see that there are really entries which shows me problems of these services.

Can you help me?

Chris

Is there any way to call this report from the command line with various switches? I'd like to schedule a cron job to run the report weekly.

Thanks.

Henrik just commited a patch (about 20 minutes after your message - see the
"Re: [xymon] RE: bb-rep.sh & bb-snapshot.sh" e-mail) that may fix this in
the latest 4.3.0 branch. You could try updating via subversion and see if
that fixes it.
