services just marked with "-" on some monitored hosts

Hey,

I installed a new hobbit-system to monitor some hosts.
Most hosts and its services are monitored fine, but for 2 hosts all services are marked with a "-" for days now.
I sniffed the traffic with tcpdump and all tests for these hosts are running (e.g. ssh, http) - even in /var/lib/hobbit/rrd there are directories named as the hostnames I specified in bb-hosts.
But for these 2 hosts I just get "-" for all services; no smilies :/

Any ideas? What might i do wrong?

Check your ghost reports...I'll bet they're sending with a different name (usually just machine instead of machine,domain.com).

The tcp services (ssh and http) will be tested from the server, I wonder if maybe he has 
the wrong hostname or IP address specified.

Hey,

nothing was working - even not the conn-tests.
It's now working after I tried your hints and made some other changes - but don't know yet what's the exact problem.
For know I'm happy it's working and will try to reproduce the issue later (still have the backups of the "not really working" copy).
