File Monitor in Central Mode on WinXP
list Jacob Paul Jordan
Folks,
I am using the filemonitor in bbwin in central mode. It finds the file
if it is there but the NOEXIST does not work.
I have the following in client-local:
[nas]
file:c:/publicdata/logs/shouldnotbehere.txt
and I have the following in hobbit-clients:
HOST=nas
FILE "C:/Publicdata/Logs/shouldnotbehere.txt" NOEXIST color=red
If the file exists it reports the file but nothing else.
Please advise.
Paul

That did not make any difference. To be clear, xymon is finding the file but it is ignoring the noexist. So instead of an error if the file is there, it shows that everything is fine. This works fine on a linux client, but it is not working on a windows client. The following is what xymon is showing: [file:c:/publicdata/logs/shouldnotbehere.txt] type:0x00020 (file) mode:777 (not implemented) linkcount:1 owner:0 (not implemented) group:0 (not implemented) size:18 atime:1328090076 (2012/02/1-09:54:36) ctime:1327934122 (2012/01/30-14:35:22) mtime:1327941311 (2012/01/30-16:35:11) Thanks Paul
