BBWin on Exchange 2007
list Jason Chambers
Has anyone encountered interaction issues with Exchange 2007 and BBWin? Since Exchange 2007 is a big resource drain, I'm very wary about putting BBWin on there, although there is value to having it. Jason, I've been using it with E2k7 since April. I have not noticed any problems with the BBWIN client. Since its resource usage is pretty low, I would not expect to see any issues. David

By hardware I meant processor, RAM and disks. If one person is saying they have problems with load while another isn't, maybe one is using a Celeron 1.5GHz and the other is using a Xeon 2.0GHz Dual Core. Can't really compare performance issues with Exchange/BBWin when the hardware is on different ends of the earth =)

Josh, Sorry, still recovering from a turkey induced coma I guess. I'm running it on a DELL PE 1900 with a Quad Core 1.6 GHz and 4 GB of RAM. Examining BBWIN, it is using under 6 MB of memory on this box, as well as others I have it deployed on. While I certainly understand your comment, my reply was basically to inform Jason that yes it does work, and that over the course of 7 months I have not experienced any problems with it. Hopefully one will have paid attention to the MS recommended hardware specs before installing the product. I know that I wish I had read it with a finer comb. Even with 4 GB of RAM my box is exceeding that usage, and I have only 10 mailboxes.
