More events (240 min -> 48 hrs) ? Relay from BigBrother?
list Ralf Strandell
Hi 1) Does anyone know how I could display all the events from the past 48-72 hours and a minimum of X events? The present 240 min list in "all non green events" does not present a very good overview over the last weekend on a monday morning... I just love to see the raw event list. It is surprisingly efficient tool. 2) How do I configure Hobbit to receive bbrelay messages from a BigBrother installation? I guess I need to create some sort of line in the Hobbits bb-hosts... Thanks

You can use the "Event Log Report"

Thanks. That works nicely, but I would prefer modifying the "All non-green view" as I use it as my default view and it gets updated automatically.

To have more envent-logs on the bb2-page change the bbgen-opts.
From the BBGEN man-page:
--max-eventcount=N
Limit the eventlog on the BB2 page to only N events. Default: 100.
--max-eventtime=N
Limit the eventlog on the BB2 page to events that happened within
the past N minutes. Default: 240.

If I recall correctly, BBRELAY just causes the normal messages to be copied to another site, without modifying the data in the message. As long as the messages being relayed refer to hosts that Hobbit has in its bb-hosts file, they should show up without any configuration being needed. Regards, Henrik
