has the method of posting to the shire changed ? I believed the previous
method was to post to the shire's mailing list. I attempted this morning and
got bounce backs.

Wow...they've done something to the site...instead of announce (which is a closed list) send it to the developers (theshire-developers) list.

I've had trouble recently with sourceforge mailing lists not accepting my mail. I found out that it is most likely due to a missing 'postmaster' alias on our mailservers. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it ;-)) our group doesn't administer our mailservers so I'm waiting for someone in another location to fix it and haven't had a chance to prove that that's the problem yet. Here's what I found on sourceforge:

https://sourceforge.net/docs/C04#s_no_postmaster

You may have to manually scroll down to the 'no postmaster' heading on that page.

I was able to send a test message to the developers list, Steve. They
must've changed something in their recent updates that broke it for you
(since I know you've sent stuff before). I'm tempted to just bring
everything in-house for The Shire.
