Hi all

Is there a way to see old acknowledgements?

Example:
A disk fails on a raid array. Raid test goes red.
Admin1 acknowledges alert - logs call with disk vendor - vendor says replacemnt arriving in 10 hours.
Admin1 updates alert with vendor Call number, sets alert ot 24 hours.
24 hours go by, disk not replaced yet, alert back to red, acknowledgemnt is gone.
Admin2 needs to know what Admin1 did.

Is there a way to see the info typed into the acknowledgement once they have expired?

Regards
     Vernon

I'd like to see syntax in the hobbit-alerts.cfg that lets me do something (e.g. run a script, send an email, etc.) when someone:

1. Acknowledges an alert
2. Disables a test

Thanks,
Jon

I found it. More or less by accident.
/var/log/hobbit/acknowledge.log

Er, can't you use use SCRIPT together with NOTICE? That should do #2
anyway. Not sure about acknowledging - maybe it does that too?
