Alerts via twitter 🔗 link

I would like to send some of the Xymon alerts via twitter. Has someone a 
script to do so?

There's an IFTTT recipe to turn an email into a tweet:

Never tried it myself, but seems like it would work.

There are also ways to post to Twitter from the command-line, such as
twurl. I imagine these could be called from the alerts.cfg file.
