checking alerts file

I thought there was a alerts file checking command that would check it for syntax etc ... am I dreaming that? anyone know of some easy way fo checking that the alerts file "makes sense" - this to easily check there isn't some silly typo/stuff up half way down that breaks all the subsequent alerts. ta! ian

`xymoncmd xymond_alert --dump-config` should give you syntax errors on STDERR if it sees anything it doesn't understand. Logic errors are a different thing, but that will also print out what it's planning to do after parsing. HTH, -jc
