MEMPHYS vs MEMACT?

Hello all,

I'm trying to understand the machine memory graphs -- specifically the
differences between MEMPHYS and MEMACT (or "actual" and "real" on the
graphs).

Is this pretty much straight from vmstat? e.g. Is "actual" the "active"
memory from vmstat and "real" the total - free?

I recall seeing information on this weeks ago, but my GoogleFu (and
Google Desktop) fails me today.

Thanks,
