does client/bin/hobbitlaunch read clientlaunch.cfg after changes?

Hi, according to the manpages hobbitlaunch on the server recognizes changes in the config file automatically. I have the impression that client/hobbitlaunch doesn't. Is there another way to make client/bin/hobbitlaunch reread clientlaunch.cfg than restarting (something like kill -HUP ...)? kind regards Rolf -- Mit freundlichen Gruessen Rolf Schrittenlocher HRZ/BDV, Senckenberganlage 31, 60054 Frankfurt Tel: (XX) XX - XXX XXXXX Fax: (XX) XX XXX XXXX LBS: user-1e39a1813094@xymon.invalid Persoenlich: user-6ea8e907e200@xymon.invalid

It should re-read the config file automatically - it's the same tool in both the server- and client-installs. Sending it a SIGHUP will also make it re-read the config. Maybe you edited the wrong file ? On the Hobbit server, the client configuration file is not used because the client scripts run off the servers' hobbitlaunch.cfg file. Regards, Henrik

Hi Henrik, thanks for the info and special thanks for the great hobbit tool - I don't know how you managed to create it and to sleep sometimes or do other even nicer things but it is great! Rolf
