Crash course on hobbit-graphs 🔗 link

Can someone give me a basic understanding on how hobbit-graphs works?

 
I'm planning to attempt to graph a small number of fields of the
Microsoft SQL 2000 graph, but reading the iishealth info made me realize
that its not capturing keywords of text and converting it to numbers.
