How can I change it to show the link as https instead of http ?

I'm not getting the question.

The name of the test is http. The test will test whatever URL you
provide. If you test an SSL site, the additional test sslcert will show
up as well.

This is regarding the url link included in an email alert....it refers to the issue that you are being alerted to....but my server is only accessible via https.

You might be able to try changing the value in your /xymonserver.cfg file as below…

In XYMONWEBHOST="http://$XYMONSERVERWWWNAME"; change to add an "s' at the end of the http value

"XYMONWEBHOST=https://$XYMONSERVERWWWNAME";

Changing XYMONWEBHOST in xymonserver.cfg _might_ do the trick (not sure,
never tried it). If that doesn't work you can setup your web server to
rewrite all http requests to https, which is what I do.
