How can I set DFWARN at different levels for filesystems , like bb-dftab?

First, this is something you do on the client side, not the server
(and Hobbit only implements the server-side, currently).

So you do it on the client, and since Hobbit is compatible with the
BB client, you just do it in the BB clients' bb-dftab file.

I have made the changes on the client side via the BB client in bb-dftab 
for the filesystem in question, but hobbit still reports yellow for the 
server for the Disk column.
Do I need to increase DFWARN in hobbitserver.cfg ?

I found it.

Permission issue on the bb-dftab file.
