How do get Hobbit to trigger a LAARD graph on an external test that is
coming in to Hobbit from a client? The results of the test is a number
that I would like to have graphed over time.

Thanks.

See the hobbitd_larrd man-page, the "Custom RRD data" section. You
need to write a small shell-script to pick out the number(s) you want
to use from the status message, and write a graph definition for the
hobbitgraph.cfg file.
