Unable to re-add dropped test.

I have used the drop test command for a host, and now need to get the test
back. But no matter how many times I add it back in, it refuses to show. Is
there a simple cmd or process I could do to get my dropped test to show?

When you drop it, the data gets deleted.  You'd have to restore from
backup to get the history.  If the host/test are still in bb-hosts (or new
.cfg equivalent), the test itself should reappear.
