Hi guys

I have a Linuxbox monitoring it self plus pinging a few other sites.
There is no reporting of eg. disk/cpu from the remote sites.
Therefore I like to move the open port 1984 of BBD to localhost 127.0.0.1
rather than the external IP-address of my box.

I have set in my bb-hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost # bbd

But nmap <mymachine> gives
...
1984/tcp open bigbrother
...

i.e. the port is opened also on my external interface - (as it is on my
127.0.0.1)

How can I avoid this? I have been into the documentation...

Best

I have set in my bb-hosts:
127.0.0.1 localhost # bbd
In hobbitlaunch.cfg, use hobbitd --listen.

(man hobbitd)
