Need to monitor SNMP trap
list L.M.J
Hi, I'm running Hobbit 4.2.2 on a recent Linux. I would like to catch some SNMP traps with Xymon. I've checked the mailing list and Googled. The right solution seems to be http://cerebro.victoriacollege.edu/hobbit-trap.html. Do you recommend this solution? Thanks

I have used that solution It works well, but is tedious to setup. -- Sean Clark Sr. Engineer, Software ATG Network Operations & Planning Integrated Regional OSS <http://www.twcable.com/DepartmentOverview/AdvancedTechnologyGroup/ATG/NOP/ OSS/Network.aspx> user-2db5fbcae9a7@xymon.invalid <mailto:user-2db5fbcae9a7@xymon.invalid> devaudio <aim://devaudio> <mailto:user-2db5fbcae9a7@xymon.invalid> Office: (XXX) XXX-XXXX cell: (XXX) XXX-XXXX

Trap handling in Xymon is far from optimal. See previous discussions with Buchan Milne: http://lists.xymon.com/archive/2011-February/030622.html Dominique
