We had installed xymon client (xymonClient services) for source on several of our corporate sites on Redhat systems. One of those systems was used as a template for systems that are scattered around branch offices. Unfortunately the xymon client was not removed before several systems were deployed.

Are there any tips on how to completely remove the xymon client on these systems. The xymonClient services is running and there is a local linux account. Thanks

If it was installed with the package, look at the package.

If it was installed from source, look to see if you changed anything from
default and of course default is a possibility as well.
