Hey everyone,

This is probably a simple question and i have checked through the mailing
lists to try to solve this problem.

I have two scripts running on a NOCONN host named Financials but are hosted
on the server fd101. I deleted all the footprints on the server such as
the .sh files and changed it in the clientlaunch.cfg file. I went to
xymon's home /bin and wrote ./bb 127.0.0.1 "drop mq fd101" and the other
way around using Financials as the host name on both tests but it is still
sending information and i dont know how. To be safe i also deleted the log
files.

Any ideas

Hi,

it seems to be the wrong command to delete the status.

it works like this: ./bb 127.0.0.1 "drop HOSTNAME COLUMN"
in your case: ./bb 127.0.0.1 "drop fd101 mq" --> if mq is thecolumn for your
external script.

I cant really understand your problem... you run 2 scripts in a host
(Financials) and this scripts are located in another server (fd101) ???

Actually the files are stored on fd101 but are reporting as the host
financials. This way we can have multiple servers that work with
financials report to the same host.

I found out that i had the test on two servers reporting to financials and
i didnt know about it. So i was able to drop it.

Sorry
